A tropical marine microalgae Chlorella sp. has been successfully isolated from Bidong Island, Terengganu in the South China Sea. The species is now has become our regular culture and extensively used to maintain our plankton.
Microalgae is the basic diet for zooplankton. In My Plankton Shop we culture our own microalgae which is now comprises of several tropical strains.
